Free or Solo: what your client actually sees

Your plan doesn't change your work. It changes what someone discovering your work sees.

Plans get compared with feature lists. That doesn't say much. The only comparison that counts is this one: open your link as if you were a client who doesn't know you, and look at what they find.

What they see either way

In other words: on Free, a client can find you, describe their project, book their date, pay their deposit and sign their consent. The craft runs.

What they DON'T see on Free

None of this shows a message. Your page never says "this artist is on the Free plan": it simply looks like a page that offers less.

That's deliberate, and it matters: your client should never see your invoice. But it's also why the difference is easy to underestimate — it doesn't show up as an alert, it shows up as people who don't come back.

Ten requests a month, then what?

The Free plan takes ten requests per calendar month. Beyond that, the next ones still arrive and are stored in full — they're simply hidden in your studio until the following month. On the client's side nothing changes: their request goes through, they get their confirmation. They don't know they're number eleven.

If you regularly go past ten, the question isn't the price of the subscription any more: it's the number of projects you don't see.

How to decide, honestly

Stay on Free if you mostly tattoo custom work, by referral, at a pace you control. Everything you need is there, and there's no catch: no card, no deadline, no feature taken away one fine morning.

Go Solo the day your page has to work for you: when you want to sell flash without negotiating, keep the ones who arrive with your books closed, show your healed pieces, send your instructions on their own and issue clean invoices. €49 a month, cancel in one click — and if you move back down, nothing is lost: it all comes back exactly as it was when you reactivate.
